GPS SBAS/WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS Testing

The accuracy and integrity of GPS can be greatly enhanced by the use of information derived from observations on the ground in the area of interest to the GPS user.

Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) provides GPS users with this enhancement provided that their receiver is capable of processing the WAAS signal.

Most of Spirent's GPS simulators include the capability to allocate channels to provide WAAS, EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) and MSAS (Japanese MT-SAT Satellite Augmentation Service) signals to allow testing of these SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation System) products.
Most of Spirent's GPS simulators include SBAS- from single channel L1 systems to multiple output L1/L2/L5 simulators
