12/15/2008 - Spirent Federal to Provide CRPA Test System to Rockwell Collins

Spirent GPS Simulator Chosen for CRPA Wavefront Testing

Yorba Linda, Calif. - (December 15, 2008) - Spirent Federal Systems, the leader in GPS/GNSS simulation, announces it will supply Rockwell Collins, Inc., with Phase 1 of a Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) test facility. Rockwell Collins, a pioneering developer of communication and navigation solutions for commercial and government applications, has selected a Spirent simulation system for performing coherent CRPA testing.

"We are pleased to continue our relationship with Rockwell Collins and provide a simulation system that will assist them in their navigation applications," commented Ellen Hall, president of Spirent Federal. "Our CRPA test system allows clients to run virtual test flights in a secure lab. They receive accurate results with complete control and repeatability, which is unattainable with field trials."
