06/03/2009 - Spirent Federal Expands GPS/GNSS Service Support Center

Euless, Texas, Office Doubled in Size to Better Serve Customers

Yorba Linda, Calif. - (June 3, 2009) - Spirent Federal Systems announced today the expansion of its customer support facility in Euless, Texas. The new addition comprises an enlarged workspace, and additional meeting and office areas. The Texas facility expansion is the second planned initiative to enhance service support for customers; the first took place in 2008 with the purchase of new diagnostic equipment. Spirent Federal remains the only U.S. company in the industry to have a dedicated service support center.

Spirent Federal provides industry-leading GPS/GNSS test equipment and associated support and professional services throughout North and South America. The expanded facility will be used to help Spirent Federal more effectively achieve its three-pronged approach to customer support:
  • Ensure customers' GPS/GNSS simulation systems are always kept current with the latest software and firmware upgrades
  • Offer prompt support for technical questions via phone, email, or on-line service website
  • Provide efficient, priority repair services when needed to keep downtime and disruptions to a minimum
Jim Holderle, director of engineering at Spirent Federal, who directly oversees the service support center, commented, "Spirent simulators have been deployed in the field since the beginning of GPS simulation. Our support resources and the expertise that we've accumulated over years of experience allow us to offer a caliber of customer support that is unmatched in the industry."

At the expanded support center Grand Opening in Euless, Ellen Hall, president of Spirent Federal, said, "In our most recent customer survey, our service support was ranked very highly. Our goal is to continue to keep our customers happy by helping them overcome any resource gaps they may have and achieve objectives as quickly and efficiently as possible."
